Nottinghamshire 1-1 Newborn Posing Workshops Run from my studio in Farndon, Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Today we had such a gorgeous little girl as our model but boy did she put me through my paces! When she decided she had enough there was no coaxing her back to sleep! Only 5 days old and so strong willed already! Watch out mum you have a little monkey on your hands!
My 1:1’s run as I would run my own client shoots; The mentee gets to see how I set everything up and the chance to shoot a huge range of photographs that may be blogged with a description about the session. I demonstrate safe baby posing, how to mold and handle baby, compositional tricks to create those WOW poses my clients have grown to love, and soothing tips and tricks that have earned me the name ‘Baby Whisperer’ among them. My mentee also gets hands on experience helping with the compositional shots and posing on the bean bag under my supervision if the wish.

Editing techniques – of one of the photographs of the day showing the before and after shots and explain how to achieve the finished look.
I am an open book there is chance for loads of questions throughout the shoot as and when they would like to ask anything. Chance to just relax and chat after the session.
Ongoing mentoring via phone, email or skype.
This session saw little baby Hadley as are star of the day she was such a fantastic model and we managed to get some great shots.
