Digital Backgrounds for Photographers

Newborn Digital Backdrop

Digital Backgrounds for Photographers

So Digital Backgrounds for Photographers are becoming all the rage at the moment for photographers for numerous reasons, they may not have enough space for elaborate setups, they may not have enough money for all the props because yes lets face it being a photographer especially a newborn photographer is a very costly business! Sometimes babies only sleep for a certain amount of time or are not tolerant to being moved much so again the backdrops help the photographer provide a more varied gallery for their clients.

I have re-opened my Etsy shop and these are but a few things I will be selling to photographers as well as Album Templates. Watch that space for more items added to the range. Etsy Shop Link

Baby Photography

Baby Photography Nottingham

This was the most perfect session. Little Miss ‘A’ was amazing such a content little madam.

I just loved working with her as she snoozed peacefully whilst I posed her. Reading the cues when was the best time in her sleep cycle to position her and taking her lead.

We even managed to capture her cute little smiles as she went into ‘REM’ sleep ‘Perfect’.

If you would like to book a session please do get in touch whilst you are still pregnant, preferably after you 16th week scan to avoid disappointment. Your due date will be added to our diary so your session is confirmed and as soon as you have had baby you contact me and we arrange for you to come into the studio before baby is 10 days old. This ‘magical’ 10 days is so important and this is the best time to get this type of posing as they will become less tolerant to it after this time and I cannot guarantee this type of posing.

Sarah shoots studio lighting so you will need to bring a trigger where possible please let her know upon booking that this is not possible.

Sarah will take you through doing composites as she uses these at ALL times for safety. A composite shot is one that consists of 2 or more images merged together in Photoshop so baby is being held at all times for safety.

The Fine Art Child Scoops Awards

The Guild of Photographers put on an awards evening this Saturday just gone (7th February) to celebrate everyone’s achievements throughout 2015. I was lucky to be nominated for image of the Year, but I was completely amazed when I won it for my Fine Art image in the Child Genre and then when I didn’t expect any more my name was called out again. I WON the big one Photographer of the Year in the Newborn Category!!! It’s really not an easy award to achieve, I was runner up last year so I was overwhelmed and honoured to have achieved it this year over so many talented photographers.

You can see my Fine Art Work over on my other website The Fine Art Child
Awards given:
* Newborn & Baby Photographer of the Year.
* Image of The year Winner – Child Genre
* International Top Ten Photographer Award (4th in the people category)
* The photographers bar – ( A unique distinction awarded to very few photographers) in 2 Genres for the 2nd year running – Now a lifetime member

Here is the image that won Image Of The Year and below me getting my awards (Images taken by the lovely Rachel Foster)
