The session I want to share with you today was a newborn posing 1:1 session I gave to another photographer. The model we used was actually her baby! We had great fun, little Indianna was such a good little girl and a cutie to boot! We covered newborn posing and how to do it safely. Lots of newborn photographers just starting out do not realize that most of the images are composite shots where a few shots are taken holding baby on different parts of the body, and then put together in Photoshop, so at all times baby is held. This is paramount to ensure they are safe at all times. Shots where there is no need for baby to be held a spotter is very close to ensure a hand is near at all times, whether it is the mum or dad or an assistant. I think it is really important to get this message across to other photographers and to any parents thinking of going to a photographer to make sure they know about the safety aspect. So I am please to welcome into the world sweet baby Indi!
