ABOUT ….. My Photography
After leaving school I qualified as a nursery nurse, and worked in many nurseries, schools for the hearing impaired and as a private Nursery Nurse.
I now have 2 wonderful boys both with the most amazing ‘impish’ souls. Joshua, who at 18 is almost the epitome of Kevin and Daniel, my gorgeous (but little monkey) of 8 years old.
I have always loved photography but my true passion came about after I had Daniel. Following his birth I struggled in vain to find a photographer who could match the style of portraiture that I liked. I was so inspired to learn the ‘Art’ of photography using my patient children as my willing (mostly!) test subjects.
I spent the next 3 years refining this Art and I want to share my passion with you.
I never did get any newborn photographs of my children, yet this is the most incredible time of their lives and the parents.
They’ve come into our world fresh and pure, and as each day passes and they grow into small people, the memory fades quickly, and it’s important to keep those early moments alive, and treasure them forever.
Hands, toes, tummy and nose I capture all the beautiful baby details.
