Children’s Photographer

The other week this cutie patootie came into the studio for her 1st year cake smash. I get so much from being a children’s photographer! It is such an amazing feeling creating something special for my clients to cherish forever, and knowing they walk into their room every day and see my work hung huge on their walls is such an honor.

We did some portrait type shots first, one of which I am sharing as her sneak peek. I am still editing the cake smash part of the shoot and can’t wait to share them with you all. She loved it, she just sat there and ate very lady like ha-ha. We had to encourage her to smash it, and mum and dad had to show her how to break it up a bit. Overall I think she had a fantastic time! All those ‘E’ numbers I bet she was bouncing off the walls all afternoon!

We spend so long teaching our children to use a knife and fork/spoon and not to eat with fingers and not to play with your food, well all that goes out the window with a cake smash! The children must think ” You want me to do WHAT with that cake?? Are you sure??” Ha-ha.

Great fun was had all round with plenty of smiles for the camera, being a children’s photographer is ace, but the clean up was less fun he-he!
